Holiday Weekend

My boss is out on vacation this week and next so things have been a bit crazy! It makes me realize how much I'm going to enjoy this:

It has been a long wait, but we will be headed to the lake this weekend!!

Our friends have a new boat and we can't wait to hop on and enjoy the weekend!

If you watch Game of Thrones...could you believe this???

CRAZY!!! Love it!

Chat after the weekend...unless anything really exciting happens between now and then :)

Back on the wagon

Hi Friends,

I've been a bit MIA but it seems like several other bloggers have as well!

What have I been doing?

Matt and I made it to the KY Oaks and had a good time. I won on the race for the second year in a row!

Derby day we went to a party at the country club in our neighborhood and had lots of fun!

I have officially fallen off the weight watchers wagon but tomorrow I am starting back up and I WILL feel better by memorial day when we go with some of our great friends to Lake Cumberland. Here is my inspiration:

(Just need to worry) I don't look like her, lol.

I post these bikini photos as I finish eating nearly half of a Chef Boyardee pizza (told you I fell off the wagon).

We are officially going to attempt to make it to my sister-in-laws wedding in Hawaii next month. We are going on buddy pass (as are most of the family) so we are going to cross our fingers and toes and hope for the best. Should everything work out wonderfully, we will be here in about ONE MONTH!

To wrap up my latest obsession is Game of Thrones on HBO. If you haven't watched it START NOW! It is so good...I'm now reading the first book which is actually kind of complicated, but I'm loving it! It's so nice to have a favorite show on TV on Sunday nights!

This evening I have a pedicure. Thank god. I really can't remember the last real one I had. Of course I scheduled it because it's MAY! It's the season of horse races, warmer weather, lake weekends and so on. BUT, with all this rain, I may not even be able to wear any open toed shoes! Oh well...I can't wait:

Last night I made my first yarn wreath and it turned out pretty cute! I'm making two more and hanging them all to come. I've also been thinking about painting my's neutral now with blue bath rugs and although our tile is pretty and patterned, it is in need of a makeover (already). I need some inspiration! Any ideas?
